I fly two vSkyLabs aircraft, the LongEZ canard pusher and the Cabri G2 Heli, and would like to understand the updater philosophy and version compatibility plan during the time I will be "flying v11" and "trying v12".
1) Will v11 and v12 retrieve the exact same model files from the updater? (e.g. opening the LongEz in x-plane 11 with the updater enabled will update the model to a "v11 and v12 compatible" model )
2) Is there a reason to re-enable the updater for my aircraft in my x-plane 11 environment? - Will the v12 effort correct any v11 LongEZ or Cabri G2 defects? - Will the v12 effort add any enhancements to the v11 LongEZ or Cabri G2 aircraft?
3) Will it be possible to preview the change logs for the aircraft to decide if I want to re-enable the updater? (If the models are "v11 and v12 compatible", and the changes are only for v12, I probably would not re-enable updates in my v11 environment.)
5) Will the updater ignore "non vSkyLabs livery" folders? I understand the updater cannot ignore or merge changes I make in the .acf file, but will it let my custom livery folder remain in the liveries folder?

Hi! OK...lets put things in order There is no 'compatibility' plan. There is an 'upgrade plan'. Meaning that the v11 products are useless in XP12 (they may load in XP12 but they are not designed for it, and multiple issues will be very noticeable, from systems to flight dynamics to sounds...lights...almost everything. So the v11 products remains v11 products, intended for use in X-Plane 11. The additional, new v12 products are completely new, separate products that were developed intensively in the past six months. They are not 'compatible' with X-Plane 12...they are *Genuine* X-Plane 12 aircraft. All development road-maps were shifted from the v11 line to the v12 line...meaning that unless something really important...no further updates are planned for the v11 line. Development of all products continues is the v12 line. So in general, it is unlikely that you will have to update a v11 aircraft... The v11 and the v12 products are separated 100%...not sharing any thing in common. The update server is also separated so you cannot experience a 'mix' of updates for either one of the versions. Updater will ignore any additional files and folders...so if you added a livery folder inside the main 'livery' folder of the aircraft, it will not modify it or delete it. To obtain the v12 product you simply have to log into your store account, there you will see the additional, separate package for download. Let know if you need further assistance

I could use some help :-). Already starts with finding my order history in the store. Really don't see where to find it. I legally own three VSL products that I would like to upgrade from XP11 to XP12. The Tecnam P2006T, the Tensor 600X gyro and the Icon A5. I believe I have ordered them from an old store? At least they are not in my .org stor history so that's not where I did purchase them.
