Hey hey. There is something very wrong with the G1000 autopilot. If I select vertical speed ex. 600 fpm it will pitch up to stall and the autotrim goes crazy. When i reach the selected altitude, the auto pilot will just keep climbing. Even if i sellect vertical speed 1500 fpm down it will still pitch up Hi Tested it out thoroughly couple of hours ago... Everything works as expected. Only minor issue I'm having is that sometimes (flight level and airspeed dependent) the AP is having some difficulties to fix the vertical speed, and there are some fluctuations around the selected value. Using FLC mode (Flight Level Change) along with selected vertical speed results in a good selected flight level interception both for climb and descend. Now, some additional notes: the P2006T is not featuring Auto-throttle within the AP. When you are selecting a vertical speed value for descent, you must keep the airspeed within the reasonable margins to allow the AP to use the trim for fixing it. In some real-world aircraft, the AP will disengage when exceeding its own trim limits, but in X-Plane, it doesn't happen (at least for my experience). Make sure that you are operating the AP in X-Plane while the aircraft is steady, and you'll be alright Thanks for your inputs!
