Despite my best efforts I can not get the new version of the Euro Fox to roll straight down the runway and take off...
After starting slowly, when at speed, the plane veers to the right and will not lift off...it crashes...
Any help appreciated....

Hi Please try to restart X-Plane and load the plane again. It should work flawlessly as the aircraft is practically designed as an "X-Plane 11 native" addon - without the use of any 3rd party plugins or dependencies... Please let me know if you are still having this issue.

Hi there JMH...my initials too...
I restarted XP 11.21 and tried the tricycle landing gear model...it workes great....unfortunately, the two taildraggers I tried had the same problem... I lowered the flaps a notch, released the brake and eased the plane off... I had to keep the plane straight by applying both aileron and ridder....at about 40 mph, the plane looked about ready to fly but veered slowly to the right and dipped a wing, which then hit the ground causing a crash...
I had the same problem with Ver. 4.....
I am using XP 11.21 on a W-10 gaming computer...
I have several of your planes...like them..
Any help appreciated...
Thanks, John Helms, Houston, TX

Hi Thanks! Try to get the tail draggers airborne at 55+ knots, and do it gently. If things goes right, try to do it a bit slower. The taildraggers are more prone to post-departure stall if pushed up to the air prematurely...because they sit with high AOA, and because you can practically pull the nose higher once airborne, because the lack of the main landing gears in the tricycle configuration, which are limiting the pitch motion at lower pitch moments... Please let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the reply...
Taking thiings easy helps a little...problem is that one soon runs out of runway getting up to speed...
I had some luck reving the engine with the brakes on till the tail lifted off then letting go of the brakes... but not that much...
I am not a pro at this but have some experience... to me, your plane is very unstable except in steady level flight...this little plane should be more stable... as mentioned, at about 40 mph on takeoff, the plane suddenly veers to the right no matter how much rudder or aileron I apply...then the wing dips right and a crash...

Hi This is simple. 40 knots is below stall speed, so you are getting the wing to stall. Takeoff procedure should include gentle rotation acts above 45 knots minimum with the flaps at takeoff position... Having the runway "short" - in which runway are you flying? It may be related to the runway setup as well. The aircraft has no stability issues, as long as you are not stalling it. Try to go to another location and check that you are not taking off with tail wind. Let me know how it goes!

What do you mean by getting the/a wing to stall?..how does that happen?
How many notches down is flap takeoff position?
Thanks, John H.
