Dear Friends,
Recently I bought the Cabri but I have problems with the starting of the Heli.
If I follow the clist and I come to the point to start it then the only thing I hear is that it is trying to start it but nothing happens. Sounds like no ignition or no fuel.....
If I use the functions keys from X-PLANE 11 ( shift-ctrl-e) then it starts the heli, but it keeps on trying to start it.
Mayby some can help me here.

Some questions and recommendations: - Which version are you using?
- Check your sound settings in X-Plane settings and make sure that they all turned on.

Well I have exactly the same problem! but in addition, impossibility to bring the ERPM in the green ...

Hi there! ERPM - make sure that you are NOT flying X-Plane in the experimental flight model. So verify that the checkbox in the general setting menu is NOT checked, then reload the aircraft. You should not have any problems after that "same-problem": can you please specify? Thanks! |

No, this box "experimental flight" is not on.
the "same problem" is the case of the startup that is not done, but I will try to redo the entire procedure to see if something has not been forgotten and I inform you.

good and well reloading the helicopter after doing a reboot Windows and X-plane 11, I finally managed to start this Cabri and fly with .... Still training and it should go ..

Having an issue when loading this model into X-Plane (newest version 11.xxx) Just purchased it, wish I didn't. After plane loads it starts to move left or right like it’s being dragged or pushed by something. Searched the forums but did not see any comments describing this issue. Also started keeps turning, can only start automatically, can't use assigned buttons, lot's of stuff don't work. Down loaded a freeware heli and it works well. X-Plane heli works well. How do I get it to just stay still so I can then figure out how to start using it.? So far not impressed. Any ideas? dnvpcc |

You are experiencing a local issue that may be related to your PC and/or X-Plane configuration, as this is not the common behavior of the VSKYLABS Cabri G2...(this is also the reason why you didn't find anything at the forums regarding this...). Now...reading your report, I can suggest the following:
First, go to X-Plane's general settings menu and set the flight model calculation rate to a higher level. On a decent computer it may be somewhere between 2 and 5... so set that bar to these values, and the shaking/moving aircraft should stop (it is a known X-Plane behavior when the rendering options are challenging the existing hardware). The VSKYLABS Cabri G2 is a bit different than the default X-Plane helicopters by using more resources (higher resolution meshes, higher count of textures etc...). So this could explain the difference between the default helicopter and the VSKYLABS G2. Although the VSL G2 is quite efficient giving its modeling quality. Starter keeps turning - this is because you are probably using the quick-start feature in X-Plane. This feature is not recommended for use, for various reasons, as it is not suitable to *all* kinds of aircraft and systems, just *most* of them. Button assignments etc... this should work straight forward, as the VSKYLABS G2 is engineered exactly as a default X-Plane aircraft, without any dependency on external plugins or custom ones. Please let me know exactly what is not working for you an I will try to assist you (the only thing I can think of is that the magnetos are not to be assigned to *magneto* operation, but to magneto failure setup. If this is the case - let me know). Please let me know where you are standing with this, and I will assist you further! Thanks! JMH - VSKYLABS  |

I've the same problems as told before , unable to increase the rpm to get it in the green area(even not know which think to touch on the saitek joysticks ...)

For start, I recommend you to look for the required assignments as detailed in the manual files, located inside the POH folder. Make sure that your throttle axis is set to 'wing sweep' in X-Plane, so yo will have throttle authority alongside with the throttle gocernor. Let me know if you need further assistance! |
