The placement of the fuel gauges is 1) "out of sight, out of mind" and 2) not even visible with my joystick configuration. I have to leave the hat right as "hat right" and hat-right over then hat-down and then zoom in to see them, although even then the angle is nearly impossible. My first LongEZ panel had the fuel gauge down where you have the gyro compass, and even there it was out of sight enough that I ran a tank dry on one of my first flights. You don't have space up high for a fuel gauge, but perhaps this layout would be possible?

Hi Yes, the fuel gauges place is challenging, but in real-life, it may be an acceptable location. I highly recommend using X-Plane's quick-look feature; Using the Quick Look Feature. I've wrote this in the other topic (2D panel) but I am copying it as well - so others will see it too: Quick Look allows you to set up a view just the way you like it, and then save it as a hot key or command. Then, whenever you press that key on the keyboard (or button on your joystick, as the case may be), you can go right back to that view again. The Quick Looks are aircraft-specific preferences. Each aircraft should be defined in separate. So, if you want to look right and at an angle inside the cockpit...(to the gauges) by tilting, moving and zooming in on a specific place in the cockpit. You can set up a Quick Look. How to do it? begin with setting up the view to however you like it (using the mouse, arrow keys etc), and assign it to a Quick Look by pressing Ctrl+Num Pad of your selection (0-9). You can assign quick look to a joystick button as well.
