Background: As a Mac LongEz pilot with the small Mac keyboard that lacks a num-key-pad, I have struggled for a while not knowing how to save and access custom set views. To see the trim, speed-brake, DG, and fuel gauges on the VSKYLABS LongEZ, I need a look down some view that is quick and repeatable. Work-Around: 1) Start X-Plane, New Flight in desired aircraft 2) Open Settings to the Joystick Configuration 3) Program a button for a 3D saved view e.g. Program "LittleFinger+DefaultView(Nav/Dogfight)" button to "Go to save 3-D cockpit location #10." 4) Temporarily program a button to "Memorize a 3-D cockpit location #10" 5) Click Settings:Done 6) Use top-hat to look to desired location (down enough to see trims, speed-brake, DG, and fuel guages) 7) Click the temporary "Memorize" button 8) Click default view 9) Check saved view: Click the button for the saved view (e.g. LittleFinger+DefaultView) 10) Repeat steps 2 and 4 to unset the temporary save view button if desired. I fly with FOV at 75 in a 1920x1080 window. Here is my saved view:
