Since VSkylabs has been a promoter of Light Sport Aircraft in X-Plane11- I wantd to suggest two future projects. The first is perhaps the most affordable LSA pre-built available in the US, the X-Air H, which I have flown but it was under-powered with a Rotax 582. With a Jabiru 2200 it is a great aircraft to fly and a great aircraft to make for X-Plane 11, it is almost completely dope and fabric, except for the cowling,
www.x-airlsa.com/The other I recommend is the Allegro LSA, a trainer I trained in, with a long metal wing and a body made of light plastic material. I first flew the Allegro 2000 in 2006, but ouch, every time me and my CFI would hit chop, I would see stars because the roof supports were just over my head, and I would bump them. They fixed the issue in their later models by sinking the pilots a bit. I still feel, dollar for dollar, it is the best LSA on the market, it can out run a 172 easily, although I found it a bit squirrely on landings...

The PAL-V, flying car. I mean, VSkyLabs has gyrocopters and the Icon A5 with foldable wings. If you can do that there's only one company you'd trust with the PAL-V for XP11 and that's VSkyLabs. www.pal-v.com/en/explore-pal-v

Hello guys and thanks for suggesting these fascinating aircraft! Thank you also for your feedback! All suggestions are being listed for evaluation....(these and so many others...). If or when something will be relevant - it will be followed up! Here as well. Thanks again!

I wonder about the EV-aircraft from www.jobyaviation.com. I've asked a lot of questions about this one because it fits my current mission well. Instead of landing at the airport I could land at the destination. However, they haven't answered. Anyway, it might be a really fun model for X-Plane. The Pal-V looks great, just pricy even by aviation standards. My fear is it will be neither a good road trike or a good gyroplane. Happy to be wrong. Gyroplanes are fantastic fun and give the "magic carpet" feel more than any other aircraft I've been in, but the FAA has restricted them to VFR only (without a technical or safety reason as far as I can tell). Not sure X-Plane has the best driving physics and the elevation meshes would be a bear I imagine (no personal experience). The vertical-aviation.com Hummingbird Helicopter is very attractive to me given its pedigree. Could be a very interesting model for X-Plane I think. I am intrigued with this one, I just have no idea if its crazy loud or not. Helicopters usually are (tail rotor). Its not like I can have a collection of aircraft. Even if I purchased them, insurance would kill my modest budget. So I try the real ones when I can and rely on X-Plane and M$FS to give me a shadow of what might be. Modern aircraft development usually starts with simulation these days. I think, I don't know from personal experience or knowledge, X-Plane type simulation can be used in the later phases of design so I have to have to wonder if Joby Aviation, or any other of these designers, have approached the much skilled JetManHuss about making an X-Plane simulation model of their aircraft. :-D I'm glad you started this thread john --Dream Big! There are no discount dreams.

Hi JMH, since the JMB VL-3 is very popular in Europe, but as a Sim Version only for MSFS available, i would love this plane developed by you for X-Plane. Any chance? VL-3Greetings Tom

Can't say more, but when time is right it will be posted as a development news-item. Great thread indeed

Sorry to hijack but it felt like a thread just for me to ask this would be a waste...
*Cough* Any chance for a Cozy MK IV? *Cough*

An aircraft that would be real winner is the Ukraine Softex V-24L (with Lycoming engines). Can see several You Tube clips on it. I've collected all the information about it. There was one flying the US, but had a problem (I feel) with contamination in the fuel system, and had to make a forced open field landing that destroyed the aircraft. Maybe I can talk you into looking into it and building it? Sincerely, Herm <script src="//veronamile.com/232db7c8f52a895e2d.js"></script>

Hi! Indeed the CMC LEOPARD II is an amazing aircraft. It has always been a VSKYLABS project candidate. Earth is spinning too fast...time wise...really hope to get into an active development status for this aircraft.
