Hello to all Falke pilots.

I would like to share my experience with the SF 25 in XP11 - version 3.1 and get your opinion on my observation.
I have been flying this type in real life for many years in different variants and have noticed with the XP model that the flight performance is very different from the real flight behaviour. In particular, I notice that the sink rate is too low when gliding at engine idle. The plane glides and glides and can hardly be brought to the ground despite fully pulled flaps. The same can be observed when gliding without the engine.

Does anyone have the same experience?

Hello Peter,

Your report describes an abnormal behavior. The VSKYLABS Falke is designed to demonstrate the Falke's actual performance figures, as documented in the manual and in real world Falke operations.

Sink rate is on the numbers, and with the spoilers applied, it drops down significantly.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version (re download the project if needed).

Please make sure that the Experimental flight model is enabled.

Please verify your flying conditions settings in the weather setup. Outside air temperature and thermal setup in X-Plane...make sure that all is set with reasonable values.

Let me know your findings. Flying the VSKYLABS Falke should be a highly realistic flying experience in X-Plane.
