Any news ? Do you have a road map for this project? Hi there! Yes. Systems/cockpit interaction and other refinements will be in the next phase (August 2017). Meantime, and backstage, extensive preparations for a second (free update) model in the package: the Glass cockpit G1000 P2006T. This upgrade will be executed as soon as x-Plane will feature the G1000 (summer 2017). FMOD sound suit is in "standby" status and is planned to be incorporated into the model later this year. In general, the aircraft is getting "matured" as we speak, and additional updates/upgrades are to be expected.

Hi, purchased the Tecnam P2006T a few days ago, so far its been an enjoyable experience and finding it a very well designed aircraft. Having a few issues with using the rotary selectors for most of the instruments, but find this is an X-Plane thing and not specific to the P2006T. Am used to using the mouse wheel for dials/rotary selectors, X-Plane's click and drag feels cumbersome and less precise.
Only question, is there a paint kit available for the P2006T? Seen some great liveries for this aircraft and would love to try reproducing some of them.

The update is planned to be released soon (I'm waiting for X-Plane 11.10, which will include the G1000). Paint kit! It is almost ready! It will be added to the package during October.

Excellent news on the future updates, am looking forward to seeing/using the G1000. Having a proper Paint Kit makes a huge difference in work flow when making new liveries. Starting to collect reverence images now, hoping to reproduce some of the more colourful training school liveries that I've seen

Purchased the vskylabs-P2006T-v4, VSKYLABS Tecnam, P2006T G1000 from the x-plane store to run on my x-plane 11.10 software. Downloaded the P2006T-v4 from X-plane and was disappointed that the Garmin G1000 cockpit display was missing but instead and older cockpit display without the glass. I purchased this software specifically for the Garmin G-1000 system. Is there a customer support number or email to contact in order to resolve this. Thank you.

Hi There are two separate aircraft in the package. One is analog and the other is the G1000. You should load also the G1000 model. Please let me know if you are having additional problems! JetManHuss.

Thank you. I finally found the file after searching deep into my file system. It must have been hidden and the only file that was readily apparent at the time was the analog version. Uploaded the digital file into x-plane and is now working. Thank you.

Just one more question. How do I activate the autopilot. Cannot find any autopilot in the g-1000 version of this software.

Hi Assuming that you are using XP11.10 beta. On the right MFD display bezel, you will find a set of click buttons which activates the autopilot and all of its modes. On the front panel there is an autopilot master switch, which is responsible for the autopilot servos. In the current setup of v4.0, it is bypassed once you use the G1000 autopilot buttons. Let me know if you're having more questions!

Thanks so much. When I get home tonight I’ll check the right side of the MFD display, although I don’t recall seeing it there. This is all new to me. As a private pilot who last flew an aircraft in 1969, the technology has really advanced quite a bit. God knows we never had gps and all my flight planning was done with an analog type slide calculator with a map on my lap. I’m going on 75 now and haven’t lost interest.

Just got back and looking at the MFD. Basic Garmin MFD. Sorry, there is no auto pilot function on the right side of the MFD bezel. Just Garmin MFD functions that include Vol/Sq, Com, CRS/BARO, Range, FMS (DT, FPL, CLR, MENU, PROC, ENT). Right of MFD are only engine gauges. My X-Plane software is 11.10b7.

Thank you. Didn't realize the auto-pilot was built into the Garmin g-1000 system. Although the system is pretty much straight forward, it looks like I need to find a user manual for some of the finer points and areas that are not so apparent. Again, thanks for all your help.
